V-Frog Press Release

V-Frog, the world’s first virtual-reality based frog dissection software designed for biology education – allowing not mere observation but physically simulated dissection – has been developed and is being marketed by Tactus Technologies of Getzville, N.Y. (02/08/2008)

California Learning Resources Network Approve V-Frog

California Learning Resource Network (CLRN), a part of the California Department of Education, reviewed V-Frog on September 25, 2007 and found that the resource meet the CLRN criteria. V-Frog was further approved for legal and social compliance. V-Frog will be listed shortly in the CDE Legal Compliance Curriculum Catalog (K-8). This will qualify school districts to use state Instructional Materials Funds Realignment Program (IMFRP) for the purchase of the V-Frog. School districts may also use general funds, lottery funds, PTA funds, etc. to purchase instructional materials in this catalog. For more information visit clrn.org or contact Tactus Technologies.
